So the story goes that our most favorite location, Camp Elphinstone on the Sunshine Coast is not being made available because the camp director wants to take that time off-fair enough, but not, at least not for the many people who want to converge around December 29-January 2nd. Last year pretty much the gamut of locations were combed through and Camp Squamish was our last resort which worked fairly well-but doesn't compare to Camp Elphinstone especially due to the size difference. It was really hard to not have everyone we wanted come out and have to turn people away. A repeat of that could easily occur at this point.

So..

We need help on this. Perhaps we need to come up with something to do about the camp decision. Anyone connected with YMCA organization? This also speaks to the pressing need for large private spaces for our gatherings. If we can't find anything sizeable enough however consider this your early heads up.
